The professional study of the feasability of the City of Fairwood establishes that the City is feasible. The study written by Berk and Associates, was comissioned by King County to enlighten the BRB and the community, with factual data and analysis. The Berk study is the only authoritative study of the proposed City of Fairwood. Fairwood Feasibility Study - Bottom Line Does the Proposed Incorporation of Fairwood Appear Financially Feasible? "Yes. If Fairwood residents are willing to pay the same total combined level of taxes they would pay as part of unincorporated King County. and are willing to preserve the taxing power to purchase public services over time, then a City of Fairwood would generate enough revenues to provide a slightly higher level of service than Fairwood residents currently receive." |
