City Council | Council | The City Council will set policy for the city by passing ordinances and directing the City Manager. The Council will hire a professional City Manager to perform the day to day administration of City Government. |
| City Manager | The City Manager serves at the pleasure of the council and has the responsibility of preparing the budget, directing day-to-day operations, hiring and firing personnel, and serving as the council's chief policy advisor. | | City Attorney | The city will contract with a law firm to provide legal services. The City Attorney will generally be present at each City Council meeting. | City Council Meetings Example schedule: The City Council will conduct regular business meetings on the second and fourth Mondays of the month; study sessions are held the first and third Mondays. Public comment is held during business meetings and is an opportunity for the public to address the Council on any subject which is not of a quasi-judicial nature or scheduled for a public hearing. The public is welcome at all City Council meetings.
