Staffing assumptions after first year of city operation.

City Manager The City Manager and a management assistant will supervise the day-to-day operation of the City.

City Clerk City Clerk; Legal Secretary; Administrative Secretary; Receptionist 
Finance Director of Administration and Finance; Senior Accountant; Accounting Clerk
Engineering Public Works Director; City Engineer; Engineer Tech
Planning Community Development Director; Senior Planner
Information Systems Computer Support Specialist

Other Services

 

Many city services, at least initially, will be performed by contractual agreement with other governments and businesses:

  • City Attorney and Prosecution Services (contract with law firm)
  • Court Services, Public Defense and Jail costs (contract with King County)
  • Fire and Emergency Services (performed by existing Fire Districts)
  • Garbage Collection performed under existing contract for next 7 years (required by law)
  • Library Services (performed by existing King County Library District)
  • Police Services (contract with King County Sheriff)
  • Road Maintenance and Operation (contract with King County)
  • Water and Sewer Services (performed by existing Districts)
