Public Works | Road Maintenance and Operation | The City of Fairwood will become responsible for road maintenance after incorporation of the city and a brief transition period. Initially, the city will very likely contract for road maintenance services. The operational costs for road, sign and signal maintenance, as well as engineering is expected to amount to $986,000 (2005) with annual baseline growth rate of 4%. The modest population growth which is expected for the city will not add mileage to the existing road base, in proportion to the population growth. |
